MIAMI 08/20/2010 - The Christian Family Coalition recommends Miguel Diaz de la Portilla in State Senate District 36. As Miami-Dade County Commissioner from 1993-2000, Miguel created the Office of the Inspector General, fought against special interests, successfully opposed sales and property tax increases, and created Community Zoning Adjustment Boards to provide neighborhoods with more say over zoning decisions.
