Christian Family Coalition applauds U.S. Supreme Court Ruling on Pledge of Allegiance!
The Christian Family Coalition hailed a U.S. Supreme Court decision which has upheld a Florida law that requires written parental consent if a student wishes to opt out of reciting the Pledge. The American Civil Liberties Union of Florida had argued the law, as it stood, undermined a 1943 Supreme Court ruling that schoolchildren could not be forced to salute the flag and say the Pledge.
